Magnat MA 700 - the pure doctrine of good sound

This is why our brand new MA 700 stereo amplifier offers the incomparable combination of tube technology for captivating sound and robust transistor power amplifiers, so that even larger speakers can be used without any problems. Beyond that, however, we have given the MA 700 everything it takes to be able to reproduce all your diverse media. In addition to all imaginable analogue and digital inputs as well as Bluetooth, this also includes an HDMI input. And that makes our amplifier a real all-rounder.

The Magnat Tempus 55 is a 2.5-way bass reflex floorstanding speaker and contains two 170 mm FE Dynamics chassis. The Klippel-optimized magnet system ensures excellent resolution and high speed.
In addition, the speaker contains a 25 mm tweeter fmax and the frequency is between 24 and 45,000 Hz. The dimensions of the Tempus 55 are 200x880x320 mm (WxHxD).

The Symbol X 130 delivers an extremely impressive performance despite its compact dimensions. A frequency response of 34 to 36,500 Hz and an efficiency of 90 dB can be clearly heard. With a housing measuring just 151 mm wide and 249 mm high, it will fit in anywhere, even on a packed table in an editing suite. It also cuts a fine figure on a shelf when used as a classic hi-fi speaker. Thanks to a load capacity of up to 200 watts, there´s no problem if the speaker is subjected to high levels for prolonged periods. And, like all Symbol speakers, it defies outdoor conditions and is able to withstand splash water without any issue.

Cutting edge technology in the smallest of spaces? It’s possible. In addition to the conventional media diversity of CD, Bluetooth, FM and DAB+, the MC 200 compact receiver also features a superior network connection. With the MAGNAT STREAMING APP, the MC 200 cannot only use Spotify, but also provides access to the huge range of Internet radio stations. Furthermore, all content can be played back from the home network, from simple MP3 songs to hi-res 192 kHz/24 bit audio files. Last but not least, the MC 200 can also be used to perform multi-room functions. All of this works via both WLAN and via the network connection at the rear of the MC 200.

The 700 series rounds off the premium class in the Signature range. It combines the audio qualities of the larger models with sleek, elegant cabinets and a timeless visual appearance. The technical ingredients used are also of the finest variety: In addition to the legendary Hi-Res certified dual tweeter module, the speakers also feature ceramic/aluminum cones for the bass and mid-range frequencies.

The Signature 507 is just as slim as the 505, but a bit higher at 1030 mm. The increased size is due to the dual woofer used, with the result that the 507 has a 170 mm bass-midrange unit as well as woofers of the same size, enabling it to reproduce correspondingly lower frequencies. It does, of course, also have the Hi-Res certified dual tweeter module with 2 fmax domes. The front panel with its integrated wave guides also optimizes the dispersion characteristics. Like all the speakers in the Signature 500 range, the sturdiest possible connection terminals are used, which allows the best cables to be used, as well as facilitating bi-wiring or bi-amping operation. It goes without saying that the 507 is suitable both as a stereo speaker and as a front channel in a home cinema system.

All the components of the Signature 900 loudspeakers have been carefully selected, arranged and tuned in a time-consuming process. The chassis alone have undergone numerous measurements, always with the help of the laser-assisted Klippel measuring system in order to achieve absolute perfection.

The heart of the fabulous high-frequency reproduction is our new Hi-Res module with two, yes two fmax tweeters. A 30 mm dome with a particularly wide bead allows it to operate with a low crossover frequency and therefore connect perfectly to the mid-range unit. The additional 20 mm super dome tweeter is the basis for extended frequency response to beyond 50 kHz. It also displays excellent all-round dispersion characteristics. In this combination, the module is certified with the Hi-Res Seal by the Japan Audio Society.

Thanks to the wide variety of media available today, such as a myriad of streaming services, we no longer have to rely on CDs and the radio as our only source of music. The most important of these services are bundled together with selected technology in an elegant package that makes up the MMS 730 high-end streamer. The shape of the unit makes it the perfect accompaniment to fully-fledged HiFi systems, especially the other HiFi components made by Magnat.

When it comes to amplifiers, there have always been two construction principles: Tubes and transistors. While tubes produce a captivating euphoria, because the technology used enables them to add harmonic overtones to the music signals, transistors deliver brute power to drive even the most demanding speakers. So why not combine both? This is exactly what the Magnat MA 900 does. We have combined two hand-selected audiophile tubes in the preamplifier together with powerful transistors in the power amplifier, thereby creating the symbiosis of sound and power.

The Magnat Alpha RS 12 features a 300 mm (12 inch) high-power long-throw woofer in a bass reflex housing that is equipped with two Airflex ports. The integrated Class D amplifier delivers 120 watts of continuous power, while the peak power is an impressive 240 watts. The technology incorporated in the RS12 allows it to reproduce frequencies down to 20 Hz. The amplifier electronics allow the volume, crossover frequency and phase to be regulated, thereby enabling optimal adaptation to the acoustics of the room.

The MC 400 really does have everything on board that makes a music fan's heart beat faster. This starts with classic sources such as a FM tuner, DAB+ and of course a phono input (MM). In addition, there are analogue connections such as a headphone jack, cinch as well as digital inputs, optical and coaxial. HDMI is also available, so that the MC 400 can also be used as an impressive sound upgrade for all TV sources. Those who listen to CDs will love the discreetly integrated slot-in CD drive. The technology behind it: A professional CD drive that is found in high end DJ equipment.

The MR 780 stereo receiver follows the unique Magnat hybrid concept: Operating in the pre-amp stage are two selected, burnt-in ECC 81 valves, which provide the entire system with the warm, audiophile sounds so acclaimed among hi-fi fans. The powerful, discretely designed transistor output stage produces 100 watts of RMS power per channel at 4 ohms. Here, too, the voltages for all the individual circuits have been elaborately stabilized. In this way, the MR 780 combines perfect sound and maximum power for an optimum overall result and first-class hi-fi sound.
